PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: CHAMPAGNE SABER FROM VAGNBYS
Sabering is a very modern and impressive technique for opening a champagne bottle with a saber. Our champagne saber from Vagnbys is particularly classy, made from one piece of stainless steel. The sculpted handle and thick, solid blade give you a perfectly balanced saber to pop corks like the pros! Danish design by the award winning Copenhagen design duo mencke&vagnby.
Length: 470 mm, Width: 70 mm, Weight: 550 g
Use of the champagne saber
Place the blade of the saber on the seam of the champagne bottle. The saber is not sharp and you don't need much force to open the bottle. It's just a matter of technique. With the swing of the saber along the bottle seam, the glass breaks and separates the cap from the neck of the bottle. The cork and collar stay together after separating from the neck. Santé!
When do I use a champagne saber?
You can use the champagne saber whenever you want to open your champagne bottle in a particularly impressive way. So it's good when you have guests, for example, for a wedding, birthday, confirmation or when there is simply a good mood to celebrate.
This is a kitchen tool and not a weapon. The blade is dull. Be aware of flying sharp glass. Make sure no person or animal stands close by when used. The bottle neck will be sharp after opening and could be harmful. Always remove the bottle top after opening.
