Recipe for cooking with wine: Scallops with pasta in lemon white wine butter

Simple and quick to recreate and just delicious!

Ingredients (for 2 persons)

  • 250 ml dry white wine
  • 250 g Linguine
  • 12 scallops
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 2 shallots
  • 2 Knoblauchzehen
  • Frischer Basilikum
  • Frische Petersilie
  • 1 Zitrone (inkl. Abrieb der Schale)
  • Salz und Pfeffer

Preparation

  • Take a bottle of white wine from the wine rack Hanglage and chill it
  • Rinse the mussels in cold water and pat dry
  • Wash the lemon hot, grate the peel and squeeze the lemon
  • Cook the pasta in salted water according to package instructions
  • Sauté both shallots and garlic for 2 min in a pan with 2 tbsp butter
  • Add the white wine and cook for 2 min
  • Add 1 ladle of pasta water and cook for another 2 min
  • Add basil, parsley, lemon zest and juice, pepper and salt and 1 tbsp butter and stir until butter is melted
  • Then fold in the cooked linguini and cook for another 30 seconds so that the pasta and sauce combine well
  • Fry the scallops in 1 tablespoon of butter for 2 minutes on each side until golden brown, season with salt and pepper
  • Divide the pasta and scallops between two plates and garnish with fresh herbs
  • Enjoy with a chilled glass of delicious white wine!
